Q & A – Frequently Asked Questions and Answer

Q: Why do I see condensate or ice forming on the cylinders?

A: L.P.G as it is made up of both liquid and vapour. When pressure is applied, the liquid-vapour ratio is altered, for the product to achieve its original state, the liquid boils to release vapour in order to stabilize the pressure inside of the cylinder. For it to boil, it has to draw in heat from the cylinder wall, the moisture from the air around then forms on the cylinder as frost or condensate. It also indicates the content level of the product.

Q: How do I know how much gas is left inside the cylinders?

A: You can weigh the cylinders to know the level of content inside, the gas left is the result when you deduct the weight (usually written on the cylinder) from the weight observed. You can also check for condensate on the cylinder body if it is in use, the mark indicates the content level. Alternatively, you can, pour hot boiling water on the cylinder side, which will make the cylinders sweat, the sweating point shows content level.

Q: What do I do if I see leakages?

A: Leakages are caused by poor conditions of the cylinder and the attached accessories. If you see any leakage, please call any of our customer care line on, +23408033027441, +23470280803273, +2340728083272, +23407042135865, +2347028058565. We will carefully guide you through steps to resolve the situation.

Q: Why does my gas finishes quickly?

A: For an average family with an average consumption, a full 12.5kg lasts up to a month. We have instances where some families use theirs for as long as 3 months.  However, in considering how long the12.5kg should last, we have to note the consumption, (the higher the consumption, the lesser the usage time) the condition of the attached accessories and cylinder valve (some accessories could be damaged leading to leakages,  whether the cylinder is in use or not). It is advised that you change the hose and other fittings annually. You can also do a self-test for the hose by turning the regulator on and feeling the hose with soapy water, while also moving close enough to sniff and perceives such leakages.

Q: Why does the price vary?

A: Please bear in mind that L.P.G is a commodity, whose price cannot be determined unilaterally by an individual supplier.  The forces of demand and supply determine its availability and price and other indices, dictated both by international and local market factors. We as a supplier always try our best to work with, on, around the forces to make the product available, and at affordable prices.
